Legal information
Clear terms.
Calm experience.
These policies explain how The Baby Lounge handles purchases, educational services, personal information, testimonials, and communications.
Plain-language notice: These policies are designed to explain how The Baby Lounge operates. They are not a substitute for individualized legal advice and should be reviewed by licensed counsel before publication.
Terms of Use
These Terms govern your use of The Baby Lounge website, digital products, educational programs, private support, workshops, events, communications, and related services.
By using the website, purchasing a product, enrolling in a program, submitting a form, or accessing The Baby Lounge materials, you agree to these Terms.
Educational services
The Baby Lounge provides general newborn education, preparation, and non-emergency support. Services are educational in nature and do not replace care from your own licensed medical, mental health, lactation, or emergency providers.
Purchases and access
- Purchasers must be at least 18 years old.
- You are responsible for providing accurate contact and payment information.
- Digital access is for the purchasing household unless otherwise stated in writing.
- Private sessions and programs must be used within any timeframe stated on the applicable sales page, checkout, or agreement.
Intellectual property
Course videos, guides, worksheets, trackers, recordings, lesson plans, graphics, written materials, branding, and other content are owned by or licensed to The Baby Lounge.
Your purchase provides a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the materials for your own household. Materials may not be copied, resold, publicly shared, uploaded, redistributed, republished, or used to create competing products without written permission from The Baby Lounge.
Appropriate use
The Baby Lounge may restrict access when reasonably necessary because of nonpayment, unauthorized sharing, misuse of content, fraudulent activity, harassment, or a material violation of these Terms.
Medical Disclaimer
The Baby Lounge provides education and preparation. It does not provide emergency care, diagnosis, treatment, or individualized medical advice through this website or its educational programs.
Although Zeina is an experienced NICU nurse, participation in The Baby Lounge does not create a nurse-patient, physician-patient, therapist-patient, or other clinical relationship.
Contact your obstetrician, midwife, pediatrician, lactation provider, mental health provider, emergency department, or another appropriate licensed professional for symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, medication questions, feeding concerns, pregnancy complications, infant illness, postpartum concerns, or changes in condition.
Call 911 or seek immediate emergency care for a medical emergency. Do not rely on email, website forms, social media, or program messaging for urgent concerns.
No guaranteed outcomes
Individual experiences vary. The Baby Lounge does not guarantee any particular birth, feeding, sleep, medical, developmental, confidence, or parenting outcome.
Refund Policy
Digital products
Unless otherwise required by law or expressly stated at checkout, digital courses, downloadable materials, recordings, templates, and other immediately accessible digital products are final sale.
Because access to proprietary materials may be provided immediately after purchase, refunds are not generally offered because a customer changes their mind, does not complete the program, does not use the materials, or later decides the product is no longer needed.
Private programs, workshops, and scheduled services
Payment, cancellation, rescheduling, and refund terms for private programs, workshops, consulting, or scheduled sessions are governed by the terms presented on the applicable sales page, checkout page, proposal, or agreement.
Billing problems
If you believe you were charged incorrectly, did not authorize a transaction, or did not receive purchased access, email hi@thebabylounge.co so the issue can be reviewed.
Nothing in this policy limits any consumer protection or billing-dispute right that cannot lawfully be waived.

Sensitive and health-related information
Do not submit emergency information or detailed medical records through ordinary website forms, email, social media, or course messaging.
The Baby Lounge does not represent that ordinary website submissions, email communications, or educational-platform messages are HIPAA-protected. HIPAA applies only in circumstances where the law establishes a covered-entity or business-associate relationship.
Cookies and service providers
The website may use cookies, analytics tools, embedded content, and similar technologies to operate the site, understand traffic, measure campaigns, remember preferences, and improve services.
Information may be shared as reasonably necessary with vendors that help operate the business, including website hosting, Squarespace, course platforms, payment processors, scheduling providers, email services, video-conferencing providers, analytics providers, and professional advisers.
Security and retention
The Baby Lounge uses reasonable administrative and technical safeguards for information in its control. No website, email system, or online service can be guaranteed completely secure.
Information may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain business and tax records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and meet legal obligations.
Your choices
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in those messages.
You may also email hi@thebabylounge.co with a reasonable request to access, correct, or delete personal information, subject to identity verification, legal requirements, and necessary record-retention obligations.
Children's privacy
The website and purchasing services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. The Baby Lounge does not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 through the website.
Third-party websites
The website may link to third-party websites and services. The Baby Lounge is not responsible for the privacy, security, content, or practices of those third parties.
Policy updates
This policy may be updated from time to time. Material updates will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date.
Reviews & Testimonial Transparency
Reviews and testimonials displayed by The Baby Lounge may include unsolicited feedback originally shared in connection with Zeina's hospital or professional newborn-care work.
These comments were not prompted, purchased, or provided in exchange for compensation, discounts, gifts, or other incentives unless a specific disclosure states otherwise.
When a testimonial originated from a hospital or professional-care setting, it may describe an individual's experience with Zeina in that setting and does not necessarily represent a purchase of, or participation in, a paid The Baby Lounge product or program.
Testimonials reflect the individual reviewer's own experience and opinion. They are not promises or guarantees that another family will have the same experience or outcome.
The Baby Lounge may edit testimonials for length, spelling, or readability, but will not intentionally change the meaning of the review.
Communications
When you submit your email address or phone number, The Baby Lounge may use that information to respond to your inquiry and communicate about your application, purchase, booking, enrollment, event, or requested resource.
Marketing emails are optional and may be unsubscribed from at any time. Transactional or service-related messages may still be sent when necessary to provide a purchase, account access, appointment information, program updates, or important policy or security notices.
If promotional text messaging is offered, any required consent language should appear where the phone number is collected.
